About Church
Mt. Calvary Baptist Church is friendly and your first visit should make you feel as if you are coming back home. Nursery is provided for all services and we have Sunday School classes for ages three years old through senior adults. From the service, you will notice that we love music and our music is intended to bring glory to God. Our congregational singing, instrumentals, vocals and choir specials are all presented in a way that draws attention to Christ and his finished work on the cross of Calvary. Our preaching is from the Bible, God's written, inspired, preserved Word. Every message focuses heavily on Scripture because it is our sole source of doctrine, belief, and practice.
About School
In addition to our regular schedule of worship, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church provides a school ministry to aid parents in fulfilling their responsibility to train their children. Mt. Calvary Christian School is dedicated to providing a Bible-based education consistent with the teachings of Scripture from kindergarten through grade 12, preparing students for entry into the college or university classroom. In addition to the academic education, students learn to think biblically as they learn about the world around them and develop their character and talents through music, other fine arts, and athletics. Mt. Calvary Christian School is a member of the North Carolina Christian School Association and the American Association of Christian Schools.
